Brief Introduction
This Z2-4 DC Motor is generally industrial small size DC motor, which requires constant power speed range no larger than 2:1, and overload capacity no larger than 1.5 times of electric traction of rated torque. The basic structure of motor adopts drop-proof uniaxial extension, self-fan cooled structure, applying in general normal working conditions. This series of motor has fine speed adjusting characteristic, reliable property and no need of direct AC power supply. It is with internal fan and self-ventilation. The motor can operate when the ambient temperature is -15℃~+40℃; Altitude ≤1KM; and monthly average air humidity ≤90% (If temperature is 25℃). This series of motor applies in industries of metal cutting machine, paper-cutting, dyeing and weaving, printing, cement, etc.
Engineered for bidirectional electromechanical conversion, this unit implements precision commutation and robust magnetic circuits to deliver reliable performance in both motoring and generating modes.

Commutator-Brush Interface: Mica-insulated copper segments ensure seamless AC/DC transition while withstanding continuous arcing overloads.
Laminated Armature Core: DR510 silicon steel stacks minimize eddy losses during high-speed rotation, maintaining flux density stability.

Interpole Integration: Commutation-enhancing poles suppress sparking during load transients via series-connected windings.

The Z2-4 executes critical functions:

Cooling: Axial fans maintain thermal stability at full load
Validated for industrial drives and auxiliary power units, its modular design enables rapid maintenance of armature windings, carbon brushes, and pole assemblies. All components comply with IEC 60034-1 standards for electrical machine construction.
