Energy Saving Principle Of PM Motor
Note:
1. The magnetic field of permanent magnet synchronous motor is generated by permanent magnet, which can avoid excitation loss (copper loss) caused by magnetic field generated by excitation current.
2. The power factor and efficiency of permanent magnet motor is obviously higher than asynchronous motor in light load or half load operation to save the energy, and its efficiency range is wider for lower the operation cost. For example, when the load is the same as 60%, the efficiency of variable frequency permanent magnet motor is 10%, which is higher than that of asynchronous motor.
3. The power factor of permanent magnet motor is approximately 1, and its reactive power is far less than that of asynchronous motor with the same power
