1955
1955: Originally Established and leaded by Xi'an Government
In September,1955, approved by Xi'an Government, after a series merges of 11 machinery factories and 5 electromechanical stores, the new government owned electric motor manufacturer is established and named as "Zhongxing Metal Machinery Factory"
1957
1957: Re-named as "Xi'an Electric Motor Factory" and moved into Independent production plant.
In July, 1957, the independent production plant was finished and put into use, at the same time, decided by the government, the factory was re-named as "Xi'an Simo Electric Motor Factory" and focusing on producing electric motors.
1966
1966: One of the three major electric motor manufacturer in northwest China.
After series of acquiring and integrating and continuous improvement in production, managing and equipment, Simo Motor grew to be a powerful electric motor factory and was admitted as one of the three major electric motor manufacturer in Northwest China. Moreover, Simo was nominated as the tank motor supplier by The Ministry of Machinery Industry.
1972~1999
1972~1999: Acquired three more test and factories.
The Xi'an Electrical Test Center, Xi'an Dongfang Electric Motor Factory, The Third Xi'an Motor Factory were acquired into Xi'an Electric Motor Factory, enhancing the strength of research, production, testing of Xi'an Electric Motor Factory more further.
2004
2004: Reformed into limited company from stated owned factory and re-named as "Xi'an Simo Motor Co., Ltd."
Under guidance of Xi'an government, Xi'an electric motor Factory was reformed into Limited company from stated owned factory, and was re-named as "Xi'an Simo Motor (Group) Co., Ltd.", with registered capital 40 Million RMB and being one of the pilot enterprises of Stated owned enterprises Reformation in Xi'an city.
2004: SIMO Motor Group established, with 14 subsidiaries;
Xi'an Simo Group was established with 14 subsidiaries, which were involved in electric motor research & producing, electric motor repairing, culture, transport, real estate, trading, moulding, etc, and become to be a modern diversified structure enterprise group.
2006
2006: 15600㎡ new plant with new and high tech equipment was put into use
According to "Xi'an Industrial Revitalization Plan", the 15600㎡ new production plant with new and high tech equipment was put into use,.
2009
2009: Re-named as Xi'an Techfull Simo Motor Co., Ltd.
Re-names as Xi'an Techfull Simo Motor Co., Ltd, increased the registered capital into 1.65 billion RMB.
2018
2018: Re-named as Xi'an Simo Motor Co., Ltd.
Re-named as Xi'an Simo Motor Co., Ltd. And introduced "Lean Management" concept into Simo to improve the researches, production, management and services totally and deeply and provide electric motors with best quality to customers all over the world.
2022
2022: Still on the way to be one of the best electric motor manufacturer in the world.
