Brief Introduction

Users can realize centralized control through PC/PLC, control upper computer, etc. to suit specific application requirements.

The Modbus serial communication protocol defines the frame content of asynchronous transmission in serial communication and the slave should sign the frame using the format, the host organization of the frame content includes: slave address, execution command, data and error checking. The slave's response also adopts the same structure, and the contents include: operation confirmation, return data and error checking. If the slave makes an error when receiving the frame, or fails to complete the action required by the host, it will organize a fault frame as a response back to the host.

The CMC-T series 3 phase induction motor soft starter communication protocol is an asynchronous serial master-slave ModBus communication protocol where only one device in the network can establish the protocol. Other devices can only respond to the host's "query/command" by providing data, or make corresponding actions according to the host's "query/command". A host is defined here as a personal computer (PC), industrial control device or programmable logic controller (PLC). Slave means CMC series 3 phase induction motor soft starter or other control devices with the same communication protocol.
