LV Soft Starter

Brief Introduction

The traditional LV soft starter is usually used to refrain from the pulse current generated by starting a motor through the method of lowering the voltage start or current limiting start, when power frequency is 50Hz. In this process, small starting torque is a problem. As the starting torque is in proportion to voltage square, and is in inverse proportion to frequency. If the voltage and frequency can be lowered together in the starting process, the starting torque can be enhanced. SIMO products adopt 12.5Hz four frequency division starting method, which is suitable for heavy-load large-torque start.

Through the control of the Thyristor, CT low voltage soft starter can realize stepwise frequency conversion, stepless voltage regulation, small starting current and large staring torque in the staring process. The soft starter developed by SIMO company integrates staring, display, protection and data acquisition together. It allows users realizing a relatively complex control functions by simple operations. Moreover, the Chinese and English interface display makes the operation more user-friendly.
