It all replaces GB 14711-2006 "Safety Requirements for Small and Medium-sized Rotating Motors".Compared with the old version, except for editorial changes, the 2013 version has significant changes in many aspects as per cooler fan motor winding. Standard name and content structure adjustment.The 2013 version of the GB/T 14711 standard changed its name to "General Safety Requirements for Small and Medium-sized Rotating Motors".

This change made the subject of the standard clearer. In terms of content architecture, the additional content of the original standard medium and high voltage motors, DC motors, and frequency conversion speed-regulating motors are no longer listed separately, and all are incorporated into the relevant structure and grounding device requirements.This integration optimizes the standard structure, making the entire standard system more compact and systematic, and convenient for users to check and follow.
