Brief Introduction

Main power supply terminal box of YR high voltage ac motor includes two types: three-terminal and six -terminal (We usually adopts three-terminal among our HV motors, please specially state if six -terminal are required; Box-type LV motors are six-terminal). The marks are U, V, W for three -terminal and U1, V1, W1, U2, V2 and W2 are for six-terminal; If the motor has neutral point terminal box, then the marks for three-terminal with neutral point

A main power supply terminal box is set for the high voltage motors below 2,000kW. For the motors above 2,000kW, in addition to the main terminal box, auxiliary terminal boxes (i.e. seen from driving end, there is one terminal box on the left and one on right respectively) are set opposite to the main terminal box; The star points of stator winding are led to auxiliary terminal boxes instead of being connected to the interior of motor, so that users can connect current transformer to protect the motors. We will not provide current transformer if there are no special instructions. When users specially request us to provide a current transformer, we shall negotiate mutually to select the current transformer with the same model to make them match with each other.

When the alphabetical order of terminal marks(U, V, W or U1, V1, W1)is the same with the alphabetical order(A, B, C)of power supply phase sequence upon wiring, main driving end perspective will be deemed as clockwise; If the wiring of two phases exchanges arbitrarily, the motor will be changed to rotate counterclockwise.

a: It is prohibited to reversely connect power supply for counterclockwise rotation or braking when the motor is running;

b: The rotation direction of 2-pole motors has been set upon delivery (see motor rotation sign); it's not allowed to change rotation direction.
