Brief Introduction
Speed regulation of long shunt dc motor:
(1) Change the power supply voltage-the advantage of voltage regulation and speed regulation is that the speed regulation performance is good, the speed regulation range is wide, and smooth stepless speed regulation can be achieved. There is no energy consumption during the speed regulation process, the hardness of the mechanical properties remains the same, and the stability is good.The disadvantage is that the speed can only be lowered, the equipment is more complex and the cost is high.
(2) Change the armature loop resistance-the advantage of string resistance speed regulation is that the required equipment is simple and the cost is low.The disadvantage of DC short shunt compound motor is that the speed regulation performance is poor, the mechanical characteristics become soft, there is stepless speed regulation, the speed can only be reduced, the energy consumption is large, and the economy is poor.Note that the speed regulating resistor can be used to start, but the start-up resistor cannot be used for speed regulation.
(3) Change the main magnetic flux-weak magnetic speed regulation for DC short shunt compound motor, additional resistors are connected in series in the excitation circuit; for series excitation motors, shunt resistors are connected in parallel at both ends of the series excitation windings.The advantage is that it is easy to control, consumes less energy, and can achieve smooth stepless speed adjustment.The disadvantage is that the speed can only be increased, the speed regulation range is narrow, and the hardness of the mechanical properties is slightly reduced.Usually it can only be used as an auxiliary speed adjustment method.
Reversal of DC short shunt compound motor:
(1) Changing the direction of the excitation current is practical for series excitation motors.When reversing, the series excitation winding and the commutator winding should be reversed at the same time.
(2) Changing the direction of the armature current is practical for other excitation or parallel excitation motors.When reversing, the armature winding and the commutator winding should be reversed at the same time.
