Brief Introduction

Before the installation of this series slip ring and squirrel cage motor, except for the insulation resistance measurement of the main motor winding according to the requirements of the main motor operation and maintenance manual, the electrical testing of the motor accessories and supporting equipment shall be carried out according to the relevant contents and corresponding standards in the operation and maintenance manual of the accessories and equipment before use. For accessories such as air water cooler, cooling fan, and strong wind air cooler, it is necessary to measure the insulation resistance of the fan motor winding of the attachment with a 500V megohm meter in the actual cold state before use, and its value is not less than 0.5MΩ. Wet heat motor is not less than 1MΩ. If it is lower than the above provisions, it should be dried. When drying, the maximum temperature of the winding does not exceed 120℃.

Only when the attached squirrel cage and slip ring motor is not damp or dried can the secondary voltage withstand test and acceptance be carried out on the attached motor. The accepted voltage should not exceed 0.75x(2xUn+1000)V, and repeated voltage withstand test should not be carried out to prevent damage to insulation. Ground discharge should also be applied after voltage test.For measuring the insulation resistance of embedded temperature measuring elements (thermometers), a megohm meter not higher than 250V should be used.

For photoelectric encoders, speed sensors, current transformers, vibration sensors, oil stations, excitation cabinets and other squirrel cage and slip ring motor accessories and supporting equipment, because of the integrated circuit, electronic components and other wearing parts, touch or test these accessories or equipment, in addition to eliminating static electricity, must be strictly in accordance with the accessories, equipment instruction manual (manual) to carry out electrical testing procedures. It is forbidden to test the insulation resistance and voltage resistance at will without following the regulations.
