Brief Introduction

YQ series squirrel cage three-phase asynchronous motor measures up the JB563-64 technical standard. This series motor is protection type, but they can be designed into tube ventilation type if customer request.

The protection style motor have to be indoor installed, which the altitude not more than 1000 m, the ambient temperature from 0'C up to 40C, the air should be clean, none-acid, non-alkali. The motor don't allowed to work in the atmosphere which is explosive and dusty

When the ambient temperature exceeds the above limit or the air is unclean, the Tube Ventilation type should be used. Here, the temperature of the air which enter the both sides of the motor should be 0℃ to 40℃, meanwhile the air pressure which inside the tube and inner motor should higher than that of the ambient air, the blower and filter should be equipped on at necessary time.

The full voltage start is allowed for YQ series squirrel cage motor. The ratio of initial starting torque and its rated value is shown in table No.3, as well as that of initial starting current and its rated vale. If customer's electricity net can't bear the full voltage start, reducing voltage start also suitable. However, the starting torque and the starting voltage falls at square relation.
