Brief Introduction

 

This series of 2 pole 3 phase induction motor can be driven by coupling, spur gear or belt pulley. For the motor with higher power and speed, the belt drive should be avoided as far as possible. If it is necessary to use belt drive, it is recommended to adopt indirect mode (see Fig. 1), so as to avoid shaft breakage caused by careless operation. When a low power and low speed motor is driven by belt, it should be prevented from breaking the shaft due to excessive tension and tight belt.
