Axial ventilation structure motor Where is the highest temperature point of the winding?

Axial ventilation cooling is also one of the more common types of ventilation cooling structures for electric motors. The axial ventilation structure is characterized by the cooling air entering from one end of the motor, flowing along the axial direction, passing through the stator and rotor, and then flowing out from the other end. The advantage of this type of ventilation is that the cooling effect is good because the cooling air can flow directly through the heat source inside the motor. However, an axial ventilation structure may require more space for fans and other ventilation equipment, which increases the overall axial size of the motor.

 

For the temperature distribution of the motor winding, also basically shows a relatively low temperature at both ends, the middle of a section of the highest temperature distribution, but with radial symmetric ventilation structure than there is still a certain difference between the highest point of the temperature shifted to the direction of the air outlet, the two ends of the temperature also shows the characteristics of high and low, the air inlet end of the temperature is the lowest, the temperature of the outlet end of the temperature is lower than the highest temperature, but higher than the temperature of the air inlet end.

In order to improve the temperature rise level of the axial ventilation structure motor, especially for the larger specifications of the motor, often through the width of the plate shaft and rotor axial ventilation holes in the way of design, these factors directly affect the overall ventilation and heat dissipation effect of the motor and the level of noise, and therefore in the processing of the relevant parts and components should be strengthened from the shape and tolerance conformity control, to avoid unnecessary problems occurring.
