Brief Introduction

YKK series 6kv motor shall be maintained and checked periodically, the following shall be ensured: a) the motor is clean and the vent pipelines of stator and rotor are unobstructed; b) load doesn't exceed rated value and service factor; c) coil temperature rise doesn't exceed rated value; d) insulation resistance value shall be greater than the recommended minimum value. e) there is no abnormal vibration and noise; f) lift for storage of necessary parts and inventory of spare parts; g) alignment data (deviation with accurate alignment, permissible value of high temperature); h) normal inspection result (record it in "used record"); i) repair (record it in "used record").

If the start and end of various phase windings are drawn out of the enclosure, the insulation resistance of each phase winding to enclosure and between each other shall be measured respectively. If three-phase winding has been connected inside the motor and only three outlet terminals are drawn out, then the insulation resistance of all the windings to enclosure shall be measured. For coil wound rotor motors, the insulation resistance of stator winding and rotor winding shall be measured respectively. After measurement, windings shall be discharged to ground.
