Brief Introduction

For variable rpm electric motor, the dipping and baking process is a very critical control link. For this process, it mainly depends on equipment, process and process management to control it.The purpose of dipping and baking the motor winding is to fill all the voids inside the winding with insulating paint, and after drying, the winding becomes a solid whole to ensure that the insulation, heat dissipation and vibration properties of the motor during operation meet the requirements, and meet and improve the overall performance level of the motor.

In the disassembly process of the variable rpm electric motor with faulty windings, it can be found that some windings are relatively loose, which obviously has a certain adverse effect on the performance of the motor.In order to achieve a sufficient effective amount of paint for the motor windings, sufficient attention should be paid to the materials, process parameters and process control involved in the dipping and baking process. The viscosity of the paint is very critical. If the paint is too thin, there will not be enough paint base in the winding to fill its voids. If the paint is too thick, it will be difficult for the paint to enter the inside of the winding, especially in the core groove.

At present, many variable rpm electric motor companies have adopted VPI vacuum pressure dip paint equipment, which will make up for the unsuitability of some materials, but the effect is very limited.In the actual production process, the status of the dipping equipment and the viscosity of the paint must be dynamically monitored, otherwise it is difficult to achieve the desired effect. In the winding insulation treatment process, most of the dipping and drying processes are carried out separately. The pre-baking before dipping is necessary.

The purpose is to remove moisture and air from the winding. After the dipping is completed, the drying process will be carried out. If the baking temperature is low, the paint that has entered the winding will be quickly lost, and the insulation treatment effect will be greatly reduced. Of course, if the temperature is too high, it will cause the aging and failure of electromagnetic wires, insulation and other materials.
