Amid a light drizzle, a fleet of red-decorated FAW heavy-duty trucks lined up neatly on the roads of SIMO Motors' factory campus. As applause and camera shutters echoed, the shipment ceremony for DC motors of the Tashkent Bar & Wire Rod Phase II Project in Uzbekistan officially kicked off. This marks that the core drive equipment customized by SIMO for the project is heading to a key Belt and Road Initiative site, injecting robust "SIMO Power" into Uzbekistan's steel industry upgrading.

The shipped DC motors are tailor-made key equipment for the project. As a major industrial initiative in Uzbekistan, the project sets extremely high standards for equipment stability, reliability, and energy efficiency. Leveraging over 60 years of technical expertise in large and medium-sized AC/DC motors and rich experience in international projects, SIMO won the bid to provide a complete DC drive solution. From pre-project technical coordination and scheme design to key component procurement, manufacturing, and factory testing, the team aligned all processes with international standards, overcoming numerous technical challenges to ensure full compliance with operational requirements, laying a solid foundation for the project's progress.
At the ceremony, the bright red banner reading "SIMO Motors – Shipment Ceremony for Direct current Motors of Tashkent Bar & Wire Rod Phase II Project in Uzbekistan" stood out vividly. All participants gathered in front of the trucks for photos, giving thumbs up with pride and confidence. The moment celebrated not only the successful delivery but also the team's months of hard work and dedication.
Since the project launch, SIMO's departments collaborated closely to tackle challenges including stringent technical requirements, tight delivery schedules, and complex cross-border coordination. The Technical & Marketing Department formed a dedicated R&D team to optimize the motor's insulation structure, cooling system, and control system for the bar & wire rod production line's special conditions, ensuring stable performance under high-load continuous operation. Special reinforcement was also added to export packaging for maximum safety during transit. Production workshops optimized workflows, allocated resources efficiently, and implemented a dedicated responsible mechanism for the project to strictly control quality at every stage. The Quality Control Department established special inspection standards, conducting comprehensive tests including thermal and rated load tests, verifying electrical and mechanical performance, and plotting magnetic saturation curves to ensure "zero-defect" delivery. The Sales & Logistics Department planned transportation routes in advance, completed all formalities, and developed a comprehensive logistics guarantee plan to ensure safe and on-time delivery to the site.
"This project is a crucial step for us to expand the Central Asian market and a full test of our technical strength and delivery capability," said the project leader at the ceremony. "From winning the bid to shipment, our team overcame numerous challenges, always prioritizing customer needs and delivering on promises with professionalism and dedication. These motors carry SIMO's brand reputation and represent the level of Chinese motor manufacturing. We are confident that 'SIMO-made' products will operate efficiently in Uzbekistan."
As a leading enterprise in China's motor industry, SIMO Motors has actively responded to the Belt and Road Initiative, participating in multiple key projects across countries along the route with high-quality products and comprehensive services. Its products are exported to dozens of countries and regions worldwide, building a strong international brand image. The successful shipment of the DC motors for the Tashkent project marks another major breakthrough in SIMO's Central Asian market expansion and a vivid practice of the company's commitment to the Belt and Road Initiative and deepening international cooperation.

Moving forward, SIMO Motors will continue to pursue technological innovation, enhance product quality and service standards, and provide reliable motor drive solutions for domestic and international clients with superior products and efficient services. The company aims to contribute more "SIMO Power" to the Belt and Road Initiative and let "SIMO's drive" shine on a broader global stage.
