To actively respond to the company's policy requirements on multi-skilled workers, address bottleneck processes caused by staff shortages or production fluctuations, and ensure the reserve of skilled talents in the workshop keeps pace with development, the Punching and Riveting Branch of Simo Motor recently organized and launched a multi-skilled worker technical training program.

It is reported that on the frontline production of the Punching and Riveting Branch, processes such as wire cutting and fitter work are key processing links that directly affect product precision and production efficiency. Combining the branch's current production situation, the person in charge of the branch recruited one multi-skilled worker each for the two positions of wire cutting and die fitter. During the recruitment period, employees signed up enthusiastically. After selection, two candidates were finally admitted based on merit. The branch adopted a "mentor-apprentice" model to cultivate multi-skilled workers. The person in charge also required mentors to teach earnestly, passing on skills with craftsmanship, and apprentices to study diligently, empowering development through practical work, so as to ensure the branch completes each production task with quality and on schedule.

A mentor is one who imparts knowledge, teaches skills, and resolves doubts. In the wire cutting workshop, mentors unreservedly shared their years of accumulated practical experience: from precise machine tool debugging, programming methods, and optimization of programming parameters, to material characteristic analysis, rapid troubleshooting, as well as safety production specifications and quality control key points. They patiently demonstrated every operational detail and meticulously explained every technical difficulty. Apprentices cherished this rare learning opportunity and devoted themselves to skill improvement with full enthusiasm.

In future work, the Punching and Riveting Branch of Simo Motor will continue to practice the fine tradition of "passing on, helping, and guiding", take the initiative to learn new knowledge and skills, strive to become multi-skilled workers and technical backbones, and shine in their respective positions.
