Brief Introduction

YKS series high voltage motor has many advantages, such as compact structure, light weight, high efficiency, energy saving, low noise, low vibration, high reliability, long service life, easy installation and maintenance, etc. Motor completely meets the requirements of GB 755 Rotating Motors-Ratings and Performance and the corresponding standards of IEC60034.

Since the motor is in place, eight adjusting nuts shall be welded on steel base plates around the motor; adjust the front and back, left and right of motor by virtue of adjusting bolts, then use the jackscrew on motor supports to adjust the height. After the motor is aligned, comprehensively check the mounting clearance between motor and base or foundation, measure with feeler gauge and record the clearances of various places, location and insertion depth of feeler gauge (generally, ignore the clearances smaller than 0.05mm); make all kinds of required gaskets according to measurement dimensions, they shall be about 15mm longer than the insertion depth of feeler gauge; tightly insert the gaskets in various corresponding positions, make the redundant part upwards to adjoin to motor base and bend it, then insert permanent mark of depth on the base. After multi-layer thin shims are overlaid for certain thickness, they shall be replaced by monolayer gasket with the same thickness.

After the motor is chocked on the base or foundation of the complete set of equipment, coupling can be used for alignment if the motor has rolling bearing. If the motor has sliding bearing, when turning, axial clearance of the motor must be considered so as to avoid any motor damage caused by axial thrust.
