3 Phase Conveyor Motor

Brief Introduction

The 3 phase conveyor motor should be able to run continuously at or near the ground potential at the midpoint.

The three-phase AC motor should also be able to occasionally be short in the case of a ground potential at the first line in an ungrounded system (for example, necessary for troubleshooting time) to run. If the motor is required to run continuously or for a long time in this case, it is necessary to strengthen the motor insulation to adapt to this kind of condition.

If the in-line and neutral ends of the winding do not have the same insulation, the manufacturer should indicate this. It is not advisable to interconnect or ground the neutral points of the motor without consulting the manufacturer, as this creates a risk of zero-sequence currents of various frequencies under certain operating conditions and may cause mechanical damage to the windings in the event of a failure from the in-line to the neutral point.

For AC motors, if required by the user, the manufacturer shall indicate limits for peak voltage and voltage gradient during continuous operation.
